Hotspots
We all know that around the world there are people struggling against oppression, poverty, and the devastation of war and/or politic strife. And we all want to make a difference. While we can't change things overnight, we can spread a positive message of solidarity and optimism, and give voice to those of you living in these communities every day.
The Blend the World community started with some of the global hotspots we read about in the headlines everyday. We visited, talked to people, and found emerging artists who wanted to make a small difference in their own countries. Each artist was asked to express Blend the World in their own voice, in their own way, for their own country or community. We then created a video to help get their message to the world.
We invite you to read about each community, and a few of our favorite, random things meant to remind us why diversity rocks. You can also make a statement or nominate your own hotspot, that will highlight your own cause, because there are places right in your own backyard that need a little help, and a whole lot of hope.
Nominate a Hotspot
Is there an area, community or neighborhood right in your own backyard that could use a little help and a whole lot of hope? Spread the word here. If enough people vote for your cause we'll help create awareness about it by creating a t-shirt that can be sold throughout the world in our Blend™ stores. Proceeds of the sale will go to help your Hotspot find its way to happy.
